This is the premise that lies behind the 'Pay It Forward' movement that followed the release of the popular movie by the same name. If you give kindness to someone, and they give kindness to others, and those others also give kindness, soon the world would be filled with more kindness than hatred. It's a good theory, at least.

Obsessions

Every now and then we find ourselves obsessed with something. Even the youngest child can experience the art of obsession.
